and it’s absolutely phenomenal. I’m on an exchange program and as of today, only have about 10 days left. I don’t want to leave. It’s seriously too amazing here. It’s been an amazing experience. While I’ve been here, I’ve had a lot of time to think about life and everything and it’s been really eye-opening. Me being gone gave my mom and chance to miss me and I’m halfway across the world and our relationship has never been better. The other day she said she’s proud of me. I actually cried a little. Being here has also helped me realize who my true friends are essentially. I’ve thought a lot about my future with certain people and it looks bright with most of them. I’ve thought a lot about my family and how lucky I am to have them. I don’t know why it took me coming all the way here for these thoughts to pop into my head, but it’s better now than never. I know I’m lucky to have gotten this opportunity. I’m living up every minute of it, but I’m still excited to come home!
God I love San Lorenzo. Don’t want to leave Spain
Nonviolence is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our time — the need for mankind to overcome oppression and violence without resorting to violence and oppression. Civilization and violence are antithetical concepts… Sooner or later all the people of the world will have to discover a way to live together in peace, and thereby transform this pending cosmic elegy into a creative psalm of brotherhood. If this is to be achieved, man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.
